Property management and marketing company,
Abacus DIVISIONS, has landed a contract to market office developments in the prestigious multi-billion Rand
Highveld Technopark in Centurion, an office park with a focus on high technological research and development.
This was confirmed by Org Geldenhuys, managing director of
Abacus DIVISIONS, who said the year-long contract would involve “the active marketing” of the office park. Situated just south of the Danie Joubert Highway at the John Voster offramp,
Highveld Technopark houses, among others, Telkom’s National Network Operations Centre and Nokia Siemens Networks.
Abacus DIVISIONS was instrumental in the marketing of properties and stands within the multi-billion Rand
Route 21 Corporate Park near Irene, a high security/access controlled business park. The office park is now almost 90% completed and includes mostly A grade office developments and very stylish office buildings. There are also small components of neat industrial and warehousing developed within the office park.
Geldenhuys said
Route 21 Corporate Park had “witnessed a good run”, despite the rigors of the recession, with office park management believing that the “last few stands available in phase 2” will be sold during the course of 2012.
He said the contract for
Highveld Technopark developments “will run for at least a year” and is open to review at the end of this period. As part of the contract Abacus Divisions will market Central Park Offices, Manhattan Park, Time Square, Madison Square and Regency Court.
